How would it work?

The structural design of the rotating habitat enables periodic expansion from a small initial seed structure, supporting up to 8,000 people at maturity and an interior ecosystem with lakes and up to 10,000 trees. The habitat will be self-sustaining economically from day one, with incremental expansion avoiding the prohibitive startup costs of full size construction. A 4rpm initial rotation rate reducing to 2rpm at full 224m radius will deliver simulated Earth gravity from 56m radius onwards.
