What Is Skyframe Research About?

Early explorations of how such a concept might be realized in a physical structure were supported by NASA's NIAC Phase I  (2013) and Phase II (2016) grants, initially in collaboration with Prof. Bob Skelton (UCLA, TAMU), Dr. Joel Sercel (TransAstra Inc.) and Dr. Jane Shevtsov (UCLA). The origins of the patent pending concept design shown here first emerged in April 2019 after the end of the 2016-2018 Phase II NIAC grant funding.
